February’s Top 10

Below are my Top 10 Favorite Products of February 2008. Actually, these are also my favorite products of all time.

Mac Lip Erase 1. Mac Pro – Lip Erase

This product is a lip balm primer to neutralize the color of the lips. The effect is to erase the lip’s natural color so to maximize the true pigment of any lipstick.
Mac Lip Erase works wonders for the nude lip look.

UrbanDecay Eye Primer 2. Urban Decay – Eyeshadow Primer

This primer is well known to be the number one product of its kind. No longer
will you worry about shadow creasing, smudging, or caking. Place on your
eyelids before applying eyeshadow. Available online at urbandecay.com or
in a local dealer.

24-Lipstick Holder 3. Acrylic 24-Lipstick Holder

Brilliant way to organize your lipstick collection. Fun ways to organize is to uncap every lipstick, place them in the slots, take a digital picture, and then use that to find coloures. This eliminates uncapping the lipstick to view its shade.
After Party 4. Bed Head – After Party

Want to get rid of fly aways and smooth out your hair after straightening or curling? Bed Head’s, After Party does the job. It has a light scent.

Model In a Bottle 5. Model In A Bottle

Model In A Bottle is comparable to MAC’s Fix-It Spray. Model in a Bottle is basically a matte finishing spray to hold your makeup in place for long lasting effects. You can purchase a scented or an unscented version.

Prestige Lipstick 6. Prestige Cosmetics – Lipsticks

These lipsticks are awesome and inexpensive (approx: $4 at your local drug store), and easy to organize. Just pop the lipstick upside down in an Acrylic lipstick holder and viola! you can see the color without opening the lipstick or memorizing its shade.

Empty Tin Cans 7. Empty Tin Cans

These empty tin cans can be purchased at starsmakeuphaven.com. Coincidentally, they fit perfectly in MAC Pallets. The only drawback is that you’ll have to stick magnets at the bottom of the tin – which isn’t too bad. These tins are very helpful for pressing pigments, eyeshadows, and for melting lipstick.

Vanilla Pigment 8. MAC – Vanilla Pigment

This is a must have for any makeup lover. $20 is all worth it for the possibilities of what the Vanilla Pigment (or any pigment) can do: highlighter, lip balm, body glitter, pressed eyeshadow, mix it with hairspray, etc.

SF Incanto Charm 9. Salvatore Ferragamo – Incanto Dream – or – Incanto Charm

Ever since I purchased Salvatore Ferragamo sunglasses, I was hooked on the designer. I was especially excited to smell his purfume line. My favorite is the Incanto collection: Dream or Charm. If you like Escada, then you will love SF’s Incanto series.

Sonia Kashuk Brushes 10. Sonia Kashuk – Brushes

If you don’t want to shell out $$$ for MAC Brushes, Sonia Kashuk has decent, quality brushes. Available at any Target stores. I personally love them all! Her cosmetic products aren’t bad either.
